TDCC-NES demonstration booth at CHAINS 2025

The Thematic Digital Competence Centre for the Natural and Engineering Sciences (TDCC-NES) will host a demonstration booth at NWO CHAINS 2025, on behalf of the project FAIR4ChemNL, which started in September 2025.
NWO CHAINS is the annual Dutch chemistry conference, where chemists, from PhD students and postdocs to professors and R&D scientists, in science and industry come together. The conference runs over two full days from 2nd to 3rd December in Veldhoven.
Following a keynote presentation on data-driven catalysis design by the project lead, Professor Evgeny Pidko, a video promoting the FAIR4ChemNL project will be launched at the TDCC-NES demonstration booth. Attendees will be invited to register their interest in the two-year project so that the project team can better reach relevant and interested stakeholders with announcements of events or news of project outputs.
With TDCC-NES staff hosting the booth, there will also be an opportunity for participants to find out more about the work of the TDCC-NES in stimulating discussion around data-related challenges, and bringing together potential collaboration partners to form projects to address these. With takeaways to remind people about the TDCC-NES after the conference ends, we hope that our presence will help us build a network of people interested in improving FAIR data across chemistry, and lead to more projects in this field in future.
