TDCC-NES: turning ideas into action at the National Research Software Day 2025

The Thematic Digital Competence Centre for the Natural and Engineering Sciences (TDCC-NES) will help to turn ideas into action after the National Research Software Day 2025.

The full day event will welcome researchers, policy makers, research software engineers, and community leaders, and try to spark innovation and action. During the afternoon's un-conference session, participants will vote on the idea they would most like to turn into action, and the TDCC-NES staff team will help to make that happen by offering support and a small budget for a follow-up meeting.

The challenges of ensuring the sustainability of research software are encapsulated in the TDCC-NES Roadmap, and therefore form one of the main areas in which the TDCC-NES community is working.

The TDCC-NES team will also be joined by staff from the TDCCs for Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and Life Sciences and Health (LSH) at a booth in the exhibition area.
