Roadmap ambition/activity cluster/challenge: FAIRification of data and software; addressing pressing issues

Public Summary
Many research institutes have RDM policies for the SSH domain, but lack the infrastructure to fully implement them. Currently, they are independently developing different local RDM infrastructures, often with limited resources. A concerted nationwide effort would be helpful to create a policy-compliant, modular and interoperable infrastructure from which institutes can choose the appropriate components. To achieve this, the shortcomings of the current RDM infrastructure need to be identified. We propose to examine existing policies and supporting infrastructures to identify the gaps, so that recommendations can follow for future collaborative RDM innovations within the SSH domain.
