Advanced Computing User Day: TDCC-NES project session

Once again, the Thematic Digital Competence Centre for the Natural and Engineering Sciences (TDCC-NES) will host a booth at the Advanced Computing User Day, in Utrecht on 4th December.

This year, we're especially pleased that one of the TDCC-NES projects will also be presented. Serkan Girgin will lead a session "How can a community-driven approach improve competences in energy-efficient scientific computing in the Netherlands?". This will tie in with one of the newly submitted projects for the 2025 TDCC funding call: ECO-SCALE, which aims to link users from the NES domain with HPC providers to improve training and uptake of HPC services. The project is briefly announced on the TDCC-NES project pages, pending approval by NWO.

ACUD is a free-to-attend annual event organised by SURF to bring together users from the advanced computing community, to learn from each other, hear latest developments, gain inspiration, and connect with like-minded professionals from the research and business fields.
