WP3
- Cost/benefit analysis summarizes the evidence of WP2 to enable a prediction of the effectiveness of proposed new investments or funding mechanisms for sustainable software development
- List of actionable advice for improvement of financial support systems for sustainable software development in academia. Where possible, to improve possible alignment and cross-fertilization between the different bottleneck projects, we will organize the produced advices along the lines of the identified relevant national challenges: Digital competencies and training, Fragmented landscape, Guidance about dealing with Intellectual Property (IP) and legal issues, Long term preservation and maintenance of research software. However, we remain open to unexpected insights uncovered by the research data, which may not
fit in those boxes
- One-pager that summarizes the aforementioned advice for policy makers and decision makers
- Comprehensive report detailing the project goals, methods, results, conclusions and advice, which includes the cost/benefit analysis and the list of actionable advice as well as the one-page management summary
