Find, use or archive data and software
4TU.ResearchData: find and archive research data and software. The 4TU.ResearchData team also delivers training to the four technical universities in the Netherlands, and manages a community around the data repository. It is host to the TDCC-NES at TU Delft.
Data Foundry: a design-specific infrastructure for prototyping and designing with data.
Data Foundry is being developed through the TDCC-NES ODeDaI project (Open Design Data Infrastructure)
Research Software Directory: search and register research software. Through the TDCC-NES project Best Practices for Sustainable Software, an API was created that pushes the metadata of software archived in the 4TU.ResearchData repository into the Research Software Directory.
Tools for research staff writing software
Software Management Plan decision tool: this is a questionnaire package that writes a software management plan based on your answers.
Code Auditor: this is a package and command-line utility to audit code quality and compliance with best practices.
Python template: This Copier template includes best practices for research software so your new package will include these practices from the start.
Tools for digital support experts
Meta-template for research software: to facilitate the adoption of common best practices for research software development through a highly customisable tool that allows organisations to create their own software templates, while aligning with the best practices of the Natural and Engineering Sciences community in the Netherlands.
