Your role

Would you like to contribute to promoting digital competences in the health and life sciences domain? Are you the spider in the web who connects initiatives and people and can move new project ideas forward? Do you have knowledge of FAIR and data-driven health and life sciences research? Health-RI has a vacancy for a project coordinator and community coordinator health for the Thematic Digital Competence Centre Life Sciences & Health (TDCC-LSH). As a member of the TDCC-LSH team, you will be part of the broad, dynamic Health-RI data team.

You will coordinate the TDCC-LSH FAIR LSH fellowship programme and function as TDCC-LSH community coordinator for the health domain. The TDCC-LSH fellowship programme aims to increase the knowledge needed to carefully manage digital data and, if possible, make it reusable for follow-up research. Fellows from research institutions will be invited to work for a year under the guidance of coaches (experts from the LSH field) on their own use cases that contribute to the TDCC-LSH ambitions in the field of FAIR data stewardship and FAIR implementation in the health and life sciences domain. The fellows will follow a training programme set up by the coaches under the guidance of a training coordinator. The solutions developed will be widely shared so that they benefit the entire LSH field. As coordinator, you will ensure the implementation of the fellowship programme according to the project plan and coordinate with all stakeholders. You will work closely with the training coordinator of the fellowship programme and be accountable to the network manager of TDCC-LSH.

In addition, together with the TDCC-LSH community coordinator for life sciences, you take care of building and maintaining the (inter)national stakeholder network in data-driven health research. You bring parties together and facilitate the further development of project ideas that contribute to the ambitions of TDCC-LSH. You contribute to the execution of TDCC-LSH project funding calls and you support assigned projects in realising their network and dissemination activities. You ensure that the network is well informed about the activities of TDCC-LSH and you collaborate with colleagues from the TDCCs in the other domains (SSH and NES) on the shared objectives.
